Hammock Pergola Stand for My Back Yard



We built this late spring in 2020, and I am happy to say, we do actually use it regularly! (Weather permitting...)


Construction notes : - Our posts are 12'2" apart (but really should be 13', your hammock will stretch over time) Most Hammocks come with recommended hook dimensions. The hanging hooks are 60" off the ground - 8' to the bottom of the 2x12 support beam - top cross pieces are set at 16" on center - top cross pieces measure 48" across at the longest point - 6x6 posts are set in ground, each with 2 bags of quickset.
